Hector uses all of his ingenuity as he tries to figure out what Aunt Diane wants most for her birthday. Unfortunately, his various ploys don’t work. The big day is fast approaching, and he still doesn't have a present. Then, when Hector finally comes up with the perfect present, Marsu unthinkingly sabotages it. It’s back to square one. In the end, Hector decides that the best present of all is to offer his services as the perfect assistant for the duration of her birthday. But on the big day, Aunt Diane is so absorbed by her work that she doesn't even notice Hector’s efforts, much to his distress. It turns out, Aunt Diane simply forgot it was her birthday. She reassures her distraught nephew: the best present in the world is having him here in Palombia with her.
